I you guys haven't noticed there's a new bartender here at the Ranch and his name is Philippe Maquet. I'm sure you might have heard of him. He has been on 60 minutes and CNN, but he has left his gigs as Anchorman and decided he likes to help us out here at the SCJD forum. So please all give a huge congrats to Phil. And as for me, you can find me haggin out behind the bar at the Servlets Saloon. YeeHaa. Mark
Phil is just such a clear choice for this forum. His kindness, generosity, and technical depth have really impressed me, as well as the other moderators. Personally, I'm really glad he accepted. Welcome aboard M
Woohooo! Glad Phil has finally joined us as bartender here. Not sure if it is a sign of things to come or not, but on his first week of being bartender here ... Phil is on holidays! He will be back next week to start moderating this forum. I would also like to thank Mark for his work as moderator here, and wish him all the best in the Servlets forum. I am sure you will still be dropping in on this forum from time to time, so I won't say goodbye. Best regards, Andrew
Thank you all for the kind words! Max, I started reading your Java Regular Expressions new book during my vacation. I've not finished it yet (I went there to ski a bit too ), but I read enough of it already to find it great, not surprisingly. You'll soon get news from me about it. Mark, I won't post anything here anymore without remembering your "Keep It Simple" rule. And if I had to forget it, please moderate me!
It's like a bad habit.
I sincerely hope that the detoxification (free translation from French?!) will fail! Best regards, Phil.
Very warm Welcome & Congrats on your new status at JR, Phil. Did'nt have net access for the past week and so late in welcoming you  Happy to have you as moderator Hope you help all of us the same way as before and more. - Satish.
