Hello,
I'm working on B&S Contractors, and seems like there is no restriction to have business tier instead of remote DBMain implementation. Business tier solution seems to be more efficient and easier, but other assignments include restriction on this, while in B&S I'm not able to find any word on remote locking() etc. implementation. Maybe somebody already tried to implement business logic and succeeded? Thanks.

Hi Gytis,
We discussed this in the thread "Should lock methods be callable by the client".
If your instructions do not require (or hint) that you should expose DBMain over the network, then you should be fine creating a business tier. You may want to read that thread I mentioned to see what might be considered hints.
As with all design decisions you make, ensure that you document it.
Regards, Andrew
