hi all:
What is the purpose of the magic cookie value? I am working on Bodggit and Scrapper. In the requirments is says "Identify this as a data file". What I understand is that, I should match the magic cookie value in the original database file given by sun, with the magic cookie value in any database file chooses by a user.
for example: If my magic cookie value is 500, then all the database files chooses by a user must contain 500 is its magic cookie value.
Please explain
thanks

My understanding is also the same.
I think the magic cookie value in my file is 514 (BS 2.1.2). I am going to put this value in a separate myproject.properties file and use this value for validation purposes only.If the database file selected does not contain this magic value, then throw an error...
Also am going to document this in my choices.txt file.
