I tried to upload but I don't have rights yet, and they have sent me an 'out of office' e-mail.

There isn't any problem with taking the exam before you upload is there?
Exam is booked for tommorow.

There is - reschedule as soon as possible or else get permission from Sun.

Hi Mike,

From the JavaRanch SCJD FAQ:
Help - I cannot upload my assignment and I have scheduled my exam for today

This happens quite often. Currently Sun are kind enough to allow candidates to upload after sitting the exam. Make sure you do send an email to prometric to tell them that you cannot upload, and keep a copy of the email. And upload as soon as Prometric tell you that they have fixed your permissions!!!

Do not rely on this happening though - Sun do object if people deliberately plan to take the exam before the upload though, and if they feel that this situation is being abused, they may force people to follow the rules.

Regards, Andrew

Thanks Surya,

I've just got back from the test centre.

As everyone says, it was very straightforward, and totally predictable.

I did use almost all the time, and have probably written far too much.

But hell, it cost me 120 quid, I'll have my monies worth

Still no upload rights though
