Moderators, please close this thread down if it is not appropriate.

I was wondering if we, as a group, should come up with an outline of topics to cover when we write our choices.txt. Things like sockets vs. RMI. i am asking because I'm not sure what level of detail I should go into with this document, and if I should only document the things I thought about while designing, or if I should also go back later, and critique my design. Its the latter part I believe I will struggle with; if its something I should have considered I should have thought about it earlier. I'm afraid I'll have problems with my assignment if I fail to go into details about my choices. I head people having pages worth of stuff for the choices.txt file, and so far I only have a few lines.

Hi Jay,

As long as this stays at an outline level, then I am OK with this thread.

Part of the reason for the choices.txt file is so that the examiner can see that you wrote the assignment that you submitted. So obviously if we started describing a complete choices.txt file, then everybody's would be the same. Which would defeat this purpose.

Regards, Andrew
