hi:
I have downloaded my assignment of SCJD ,but I noticed the title of instructions.html shows the words "Version 1.2.1".
is that mean if the pass the exam ,I will get scjd for java 1.2 not java 1.4? If so ,how can i get SCJD 1.4 assignment and why I can't download the sjcd 1.4 assignment from the site that sun informed me?
please tell me why and thanks in advaneced!

That's a SCJD 1.4 assignment. Mine is 1.2.3, that's the assignment version, not the JDK version.

You're OK. The version number refers to the assignment version, not the SCJD version. Mine is 2.2.3!

Hi Steven,

As has already been noted, the 1.2.1 refers to the version of the Bodgitt & Scarper assignment. It does not have any relationship to the version of the JDK you are being certified on.

There is a section in the JavaRanch SCJD FAQ on "How may assignments are there?" which gives a bit more information on assignment versioning.

Regards, Andrew
