Hi.

Just wondering what Sun's policy on versioning source code is? Should I just add 0.1 to the files that I edit, or should I be doing something like changing all the @version tags for all the source code (regardless whether I edited it) to something like 2.0 to indicate a major release (or something like that).

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ian,

I think that Sun doesn't really care how you label the version of your files.

I used the automatic tagging of Visual Sourcesafe to generate version numbers. Apparantly that was acceptable.

Frans.
