Hi,

I have downloaded the Bodgitt and Scarper (version 2.2.2) assignement 1 year ago. Starting to work on it with JDK 1.4... How much time do I have to complete the certification?

Thanks,
Frank

As long as you want (theoretically). There is no time limit.

There is, if Frank wants to finish it with JDK 1.4. Then the rule applies that the JDK version cannot be superseded by a newer version for more than 18 months. Since JDK 1.5 was introduced in September 2004, assignments developed with JDK 1.4 can be submitted upto March 2006...

Frans.

But 1.4.2 is still listed as a production release, so I don't know if it can really be considered "superceded" yet. To me, the term superceded means supplanted, but I could be wrong about that...
