Hi Guys,

I have a small question about the user help. Has anyone provided user help for the Server as well as the Client?

I have a help system for the client, but I have not included any help on the server. Is this needed? My server has a simple GUI with a start/stop and exit buttons, do you think I should provide a help window for this?

Thank you for any help.

Regards,
James.

Hi James,

I did include help files for both client and server.

You might want a minimal help file for the server just so the (really really dumb) end user knows how they can choose the database file (you are meeting this requirement aren't you?).

Regards, Andrew

What do you think?

Hi,

I also included help for both client and server. It was not much work anyway to add server-side help; I could reuse all functionality from the client UI classes.

Hi Frans,

do you use 1 or 2 files for help?

I used two files. The one for the server was very short.
