Hi all,

Does anyone know how to open the database file (db-1x2.db) file provided by the SCJD assignment.
I have opened it with notepad and wordpad but the data is not formatted.

Hi Jack,

Welcome to JavaRanch. It's the intention that you can not read the file

. Look into your assignment and see how to read the data file by using java.io.*

I've seen someone who could read his given file with UltraEdit.
