Hello All,

I have just passed the programmer exam and have paid for the developer exam (URLyBird). I've been reading this forum for a couple of days and realized that this assignment will require more work than I thought.

I am waiting for Andrew Monkhouse's book but was wondering if someone could direct me on what kind of things I should work on to practice before I start the assignment.

Thanks

I suggest you study the following things:

-design patterns (lots of tutorials in the web, Gamma's book, or of course my fav book, HF Design Patterns)

-Review IO
-Review Threads especially on synchronization
-studt RMI
-Study swings.

regards,
tim
