Hi, everyone.

I started to work on the certification this very week. Yesterday I decided to start developing the GUI first. I developed a class which loads the application menu from an Xml file, but now I have my doubts regarding if it is valid to use this API. (I am using javax.xml.parsers.* and org.w3c.dom.*)

I read the documentation Sun sent me for the project and it does not says which API's I cannot use. Nevertheless when I read about the certification on htt://suned.sun.com I said there were certain API I could not use.

Does anyone of you know which are valid APIs to use and which ones are not?

Thaks in advance for your help!

Hi Edwin,

Since both packages are part of the J2SE, you should be allowed to use these. (IMHO of course.)

Frans.
