Book Transaction behavior

Hello,

its the first time I post a question, iam working on the
B&S assignment. Reading the document, in the database schema section there is a field named "size" (Number of staff in organization)
with the following description:
"The number of workers available when this record is booked".

My question is about how the book transation should work.

I see two possibilities:

1) When the client BOOK a contractor, the transaction will book
the entire record ( book all the workers avaiable);

2) When the client BOOK a contractor, the transaction will book
a specific number of workers ( at most the number of workers available).
This view implies that the record will be broken into two records,
one with the booked workers (and owner), and the other
with the remaing workers. Theres nothing in the document saying
this type of control is needed, but i think theres a lot of
things the document dont say.

The document dont say nothing about canceling a BOOK, but I think
its clear that the user interface must have a transaction to do this.

I will appreciate any help about the questions above.

Thanks in advance,

Marcos Zorio
