Hi,

Ive been reading about posts that expose how are different the points of view about this rule.

Id like to show my solution, because I want some comments about it.

In the db layer, there is a findByCriteria(String[] criteria) method. In the two first positions of the array, I put the location and the hotel name. In position 2, I put the desired date. This date is selected from a combo in the gui. This combo has three values.

For example, today is 10/7/2005. So I create the combo with the following values : 10/7/2005, 10/8/2005 and 10/9/2005. Im not worry about hours, but about days. I assume that everybody has to leave the room as 12am.

The findByCriteria method will find records that the available date is less than ou equal the selected date.

I also have a textField to input the date that the customer would leave the hotel.

Am I in the right way ?

Another simple question. My primary language is portuguese (Brazil), and I dont know whats the meannig of BTW, IMO, AFAIK. If someone could anwer me ASAP ...

Thanks

Mrcio
