Sorry about the ammount of questions peeps, but ive just read over the assignment and am noticing things i forgot about.

I am using a RandomAccessFile to read and write to the database file.

The assignment states that this databases encoding is 8 bit US ASCII.

I was wondering if when i write to the file, how i make sure i am writing 8 bit US ASCII.

Thyankyou very much for all your guys help.

Good day! Dont worry bout how many times u send questions, it's totally allowed! If u check properly the API of the String class, there is a constructor that could be used to create string of type 8 bit US ASCII!I hope this helps!Have a nice day!
