Hi Ritwik,

One of the nice things about the SCJD assignment is that there is no time limit before you have to submit it (there are time limits on the JDK used, and on the exam voucher, but they are seperate issues - there is no time limit on the assignment itself).

So you can purchase the assignment and work on it sequentially, learning what you need as you go along.

There are many good books in the market that will step you through the development process in general. My book (SCJD Exam with J2SE 5, which is tailored around the current assignments, will be available at the end of December - I would expect that it will be available in India very soon after (if not at the same time) that it is released in America.

Regards, Andrew

Hi Sabeer,

I cannot find it listed on Joyo, but that does not mean that it will not be available in Hong Kong - you could probably get it through Amazon if no local bookstore stocks it. We are also hoping to have an electronic version available soon, but I cannot guarantee when this might be available (or even if it will be available - there are still some issues to sort out).

Alternatively you could contact the distributors for South East Asia, and ask them about where to get it:

STP Distributors Pte Ltd
