Hi all,
I was wondering, if a customer books a contractor, then that would entail an update of the records correct? Now assuming that is correct and we are to save the changes, do we serialize the tablemodel object? Or do we serialize something else? Or do we just write to the .db file that was given to us on our assignment and that will be the means of persistence?

Hope my question makes sense. Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Surya

If I understood your question correctly then yes , in order to persist the changes made to the database record you write this record to the database file.

Hope it helps.

Thanks Alex. Just to make sure, I am elaborating on what you said. Since we do not have record numbers in the db file, if a user updates the record with say record number 1 and updates the owner field, when we save, then it should save in the xxxxxx.db file which was provided for us in the assignment. Would not that muck things up?
