Hi all,

in one of my javadoc comments of my Data class (which is in the suncertify.db package) I have the following :

My DatabaseMetaData class is also in the suncertify.db package.
Running the javadoc tool gives the following warning
/home/ronald/java/projects/URLyBird-1.3.3/src/suncertify/db/Data.java:196: warning - DatabaseMetaData#FIRST_REC (referenced by @value tag) is an unknown reference.

The only way I can solve this problem is by using the fully qualified name:

The strange thing is that this problem doesn't occur for the @see tag.
For the @see tag doing something like this:
doesn't cause a warning when running the javadoc tool.

I am doing something wrong or could this be a bug in the javadoc tool when processing the @value tag ?

My environment:
  • java version "1.5.0_06"
  • OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS release 4 (Nahant Update 2)
