Do many people do this?

Do you think its a good idea, or overboard?

Is a simple seperate html file sufficient?

I was thinking of adding an in program help system, using a mini-web browser.. it would not take me much effort, but maybe its overboard for the UI? Which is/should be very intuitive.. (i mean its a hotel booking system, with 3 functions find all/search/book!)

Hi Alan,

I did this in my submission - I found it was very easy to do, and it meant that users found it easy to get contextual help (if they were in the server configuration page and hit the help button they went straight to the help page for the server).

But possibly it is a bit of overkill, so I am not sure if I would do it again.

Regards, Andrew

Yeah its probabaly overkill. But I think I'm going with it anyway, I've added a history function to the broswer for back/forward functions.. not really necessary but it allows me to put some nice buttons at the top of the browser .. it just looks wrong with no buttons up there!
