What's Sun's take on this? My solution is an amalgamation of my own thoughts and designs, influenced from other people's idea's on the forum, and from Andrews book.

I'm considering using andrews solution to cleanly closing the server (setDatabaseLocked()).. I obviously understand the solution, but its just a few lines of code that will look almost identical to the books code.

Thoughts?

I don't think there is a problem with that.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
