Hi

In mu assigement UrlyBird, they describe the read method as follows

"reads a record from the file. Returns an array where element is a record value"
public String[] read(int recNo) throws RecordNotFoundException

-I understand from "each element is a record value" : each element is a record field value. am I wrong?

The entire record it returns is the array.
Each element in the array represents a field in the database record.
