Hi Oricio,

Thank you for your reply. Maybe my question was not clear. my project has no lock and unlock functions right now. I tried my project and found that when I run my application using RMI and I run two Clients at same time. If one of clients deletes a record (say 5), another client throws a RecordNotFoundException. If I try update a record in one client, another client display the updated record synchronally. my question is how to solve this problem when over RMI, a client throws a RecordNotFoundException when another client deletes a record.

I also run this application in standalone model concurrently (which means I run this application twice at same time. Do these two client get two copy "db1x1.db" or they get same in this standalone model?

thank you.

best regards,

Hua
