Hi All,
I am planning to take SCJD5.0. As i am not much aware about this exam's specs , so i am going through APress Book for SCJD5.0 .
They have taken one sample project Danny's DVDs .But i couldnt find any proper requiremet specification for that project.
Many of you have passed this exam , so can you share some knoweledge of requirement specification for an SCJD project.
Thanks
Arpit

the basic funda behind that exam is to see how well you interpret requirements. The Requirements would be really high level and some places are left for the test giver to suggest solutions.

I suggest you to go through posts in this forum and you can create your own picture of the requirements. Oh, don't forget to go through our FAQ.

I think, that nobody is going to walk you hand in hand in the SCJD preparation heaven. You have to make some effort, bacause it belongs to the certification.

Hi Arpit,

You might want to re-read chapter 3. The information in that chapter is similar to what you will get in the instructions from Sun.

Obviously we couldn't copy Sun's format and instructions exactly, but we did try to write chapter 3 such that when you do read your real instructions you will not be surprised at how they are written.

As for these not being proper requirement specifications - yes, you are right. But you will not get proper requirement specifications from Sun either - we did not want to set false expectations by providing far more in our introduction.

Regards, Andrew
