Just passed scjp 5 few days ago. now I'm bit lost where should I go.

In previous job, I had involved in web development and used servlet, xml, xslt. And keen to sharpen my skills in backend programming that include EJB. But I don't like the memorizing exam style

I'm interested to learn how to design, and use Java effectively and "correctly", is Developer exam the right path? But what I don't like is text file for data and swing-based ui.

any comment welcome

thanks all

I suggest you to read something about SCJD certification and decide on your own.

At the top of this forum there are two links "Reading Materials" and "FAQ".

I didn't like the SCJP exam, because a lot the question were IMHO very theoretically and not that practical oriented. Here with the SCJD exam on the other hand, it is a (almost) real app you have to develop, with a couple of knowledge involved. I like it and looking forward to hopefully pass it.
