This week's book giveaway is in the Other Languages forum. We're giving away four copies of Functional Reactive Programming and have Stephen Blackheath and Anthony Jones on-line! See this thread for details.
I'm cleaning up my code now and writing documentation. I think is kinda old fashion to be limited to 80 char/row, how strict is sun at this point. I prefer to have clear variable names and sometimes us 100 or 120 chars/row. How common can printing source code be nowadays.

I would stick the Sun Java Coding standards otherwise I think you could lose marks for Clarity and Maintainability of your code.
4.1 Line Length Avoid lines longer than 80 characters, since they're not handled well by many terminals and tools.
Note: Examples for use in documentation should have a shorter line length-generally no more than 70 characters.
