I am an SCJP who passed using version 1.2. It has been a while since my certification. My question am I required to update my SCJP before taking the exam? The current JDK is 1.5.

The only precondition for taking SCJD is that you are SCJP certified. It does not matter what version of SCJP it is.

That's good.

I didn't want to have to pay to upgrade yet.
Thanks Barry
