Hi everyone,

Just wondering. I got an e-mail from sun saying "go to our database set up password and download the assignment". Went there changed the password, got an info that it was set up. But when trying to log in using my Id and password I am getting an "Invalid login info". Do you know if there is a certain time required after setting up the password for DB update or something. Or i did something wrong. Thanks for any tips.

Email prometric at suncert@prometric.com not Sun themselves as it is prometric that collect the assignments and exams and then they forward these on to Sun for marking. Be sure to quote your prometric testing ID in the mail. Hopefully it would be sorted ot in a few days but it may take longer.

Sorted out. )))))

I wrote an e-mail to SunCert@Prometric.com but did not get any reply. So my next step was to write to who2contact@central.sun.com. Got reply within one and a half day. Thanks for all your tips.

I just got this email problem as you.
It seems that it might be your first time to login that database. You need to create you password for your candidate id(which is used to register your SCJD).
In that login page, you should the following sentence:
"If you're a first time user or have forgtten your Password
you may click here to assign one.". you click "click here". Then you will see a new web page which require you to fill "Candidate Name", "Candidate ID", "Registration Number", and "Test Date".
"Candidate name " is your name.
"Candidate ID " is the ID by which you registered and took the SCJP exam.
"Registration Number" is also the number which you used for your SCJP exam.
"Test date" is the date when you take your SCJP exam.
If you forgot your "Candidate ID", "Registration Number" and "Test Date", you can contacct prometric for these information. They will told you these information.
