Hi,
I had kept the package.html as part of the source to generate the javadoc properly for the package. My question here is - Should I remove these html from source code after generating javadoc?

I think you shouldn't remove these html because this now are part of your source and later if you want to recreate javadoc you cannot do this in the same way.

Use the -d flag to specify an output directory for the javadoc command. This way the html will not be mixed in with the source code.
