1.) Do the exams CX-310-252A and CX-310-027 include the usage of SE 1.5?
At the time you submit your code, it has to be compiled with a version no later than 18 month old. I'll let others be more precised on this.
2.) Do I get the assignment after I buy a voucher for CX-310-252A, or can I download the assignment before and the voucher's only needed for the assignment submission?
After you buy the voucher, SUN will put your assignment for download from the web within 2 days (2 or 4 days). Then you download it and the journey starts right away!
Later, after your submission, you'll buy the 2nd voucher to schedule your written exam. I Don't know about this part yet.
3.) If I get the assignment after buying a voucher, how much time have I got to complete it?
Unlimited time.. Really.. I started in 2005, stopped and forgot about it, and restarted again 1 week ago. The constraint is it has to be compiled with a recent JDK (18 month old at most).
