Documentation (maximum = 70): 70
O-O Design (maximum = 30): 30
GUI (maximum = 40): 39
Locking (maximum = 80): 80
Data store (maximum = 40): 40
Network server (maximum = 40): 40

The best advice I can give is to keep it simple, don't over engineer. Read the book, and adapt the advice in it to your assignment. I also read alot of good stuff here on JavaRanch.
