hi all,

The results came very fast, faster than I expected (one week).
Here is what scored:

General Considerations (maximum = 100): 100
Documentation (maximum = 70): 70
O-O Design (maximum = 30): 30
GUI (maximum = 40): 32
Locking (maximum = 80): 80
Data store (maximum = 40): 40
Network server (maximum = 40): 17

I tried my best to to make the GUI as nice and usable as possible. I used comboboxes, the table can be sorted on each column. But I think that I should have added menus as they are essential.

I am a little disappointed with the Network Server score, I used RMI. I guess they think that I made it more complicated that it should be.

I am really proud with my locking grade as I spent alot of time on it trying to make it perfect and it paid off... Thank God

Thanks all for the posts, truly in javaranch.com you have it all. You made it easy to focus on the right solution and perfect it.

good luck all.

Thanks you guys, Please let me know if there is anything that I can contribute back.

Alex, you are preparing the the web component certificate, so do I. I just noticed that there is new release for version 5, which book do you use of it?
so far I have been using First head book but it is for 1.4.
