Too many classes

I've got 36 classes. There are a few more anonymous classes.

Is this too many?

I had 52 classes/interfaces..

You should be focussed on a good OO design. Not the number of classes.

I'll say too few .

In real application we may have 1000 classes.

I agree with you, that was kinda of my point with 52 classes.. I have habit of subclassing all the swing components when creating a GUI..

really hard to compare number of classes from one another.. 36 sounds ok.. I mean it's not 6 or 156...
