Hey there, just getting a feel for the SCJD and more so was wondering, (merely from a curiosity point of view) did the majority of developers implement RMI or sockets?

Hi

most of them in this forum discuss about using RMI. apparently its easier to implement than sockets. I havent reached there yet, so cant really say what are the other advantages.

You could also take a look at FAQ of javaranch website to see how some of them implemented their SCJD assignment.

I used RMI, I found it easier to explain in my choices.txt
Its basically your decision.
