Hello all!

I'm looking for some intermediate practice problems that I can work on to build my skill level. I figure that if I do a bunch of little projects - related to Swing, sockets, RMI, threads, etc... - it will help me through the actual SCJD programming assignment. The problem is, I can't find any!! All the practice assignments I've found are very basic, dealing with loops and conditional statements. I think it's safe to say that I know that stuff well enough and need to step it up a notch :-D

Does anyone know where I can find stuff like this? Online or in a book, either is fine with me.

Thanks!
Marc

Start Reading Monkhouse book. It has all the background needed. Do more research on a topic by topic basis as you read the book.

Yes, that does seem like the sensible thing to do... Thanks for the advice! No need in buying books I'm not sure I'm going to need just yet. :-D

Even though I still recommand the book, I myself bought it and barely used it.

It was really good to get outlines/ideas of what I should read about. But after that, I'd rather looked on the net for detailed information. But for what I used it for, it was still worth it.

And I just like to have books.
