Hello,

i would say that you can use javaw.swing.SwingWorker in your assignment
as long as you are based on the JDK 6. This class is usefull if you have
to process a lenghty task started from the EDT which result has to be
used to update the display (and thus, on the EDT, too). On the other hand,
i think that all the process can be done by the EDT on the SCJD project
(there is no lengthy process). Using SwingWorker needs to take extra
care. So use it if you really think you need it.

Hope it helps,

Gilles

ok then...

So as long as I use JDK 6, it's allowed to use swingWorker... ok.. that's what I would like to know...

But I'll think about what you said and use it only if I need to..

thanks very much.
