I have taken a look several post on JavaRanch about magic cookie.
According to these discussion, the magic cookie is related to assignment version, also database schema version.
Can I say "Magic cookie is database schema number"?

So if I would like my application only to read a specific database schema,
I hard code the magic cookie in my code.

Is this a good way to deal with magic cookie?

Thanks

You either harcode it or you include it in your suncertify.properties configuration file.
