Just curious...

Who is actively working on an assignment and what is your project name/version?

Mine is URLyBird 1.2.1.

Hey my buddy.

I have my project 99,9% done now, I'm finishing the GUI and all the rest is done... the target is to close everything until next weekend.
By the way, my project is the URLyBird 1.3.1.

I have URLyBird 1.2.2, and have had it for over 2 years now It does compile and run under Java 6, so I guess I can take my time with it. It is actually not too far off from being done. I just have other work at work right now, and it takes up all the resources on my PC. I guess I could move it to the Mac...I have 2 computers at work.

It seem like a season for an assignment project. When I download a exam on last few months, it is on the B&S season. Now it is a URLyBird assignment season.

B&S, v.2.1.1, about 80% done (until last week, I was at about 90%, but did some refactoring and now need to update the documentation )

Regards,
Jens

I just registered today, but have not received email from Sun which gives the URL to download assignment. I called Sun, and was told it might take 1-2 days for processing.

I planned to finish the assignment in 1 month time. Is this possible?

"Old Ox",
Welcome to JavaRanch!

We're pleased to have you here with us here on the ranch, but there are a few rules that need to be followed. One is that proper names are required. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious. Initials are OK for the first and middle names but not the last. You can change it here

Old Ox,

Please take a moment to read use one thread per question. Adding your question to this thread is generally considered not very nice.

As for your question - you might want to take a look at is Sun kidding about this. There you will find several perspectives on the amount of time required.
