how to IOException

I must implement methods of a interface named DB. None of which throws IOException. But the underline I/O implementation may generate IOException. Should I just log the exception and ignore it or how do a propagate it up?

The most common solution on this forum seems to be to wrap the IOException in a RuntimeException which you could make yourselft, for example:
