the Database file has no record number, or those this imply that we specify each record in the db file as an int i.e the first record in the file would be recNo 1, e.t.c?

Like many ranchers here, I use the index of the records to be the record number, The index number is fixed because user can not really delete a record (the delete method only marks a record to be "deleted", the position, or the index of the record is intact). Therefore, the index of the record could be your very reliable number to identify a specific record

Okay the recNo can be any number relating to a specify record.So this can be implemented like Map<K(reliablenumber),V(record)>?
