In database schema, there is a field called "owner". The specification says:

I am wondering what you guys use for customer IDs, they need to be unique. So i guess i need to use some kind of random number generator?

There was some discussion on this in a different topic. You simply need to provide some way to let a CSR enter a customer id that will be stored in the database file. So, no random number generator or anything.

I see. So when shall I ask CSR for customerID, at the startup of the application or after they try to book the room? Should there be a prompt window?

Thanks

Probably when they try to book a room. I can't really tell, because I did the B&S assignment. How the customer id is asked is up to you.

I think it is assumed that the CSR have all the customer's ID. In addition, I assumed that one customer can books more than 2 rooms at the same time.

Hope that helps.
