I just noticed that our native search facility is back! I am overwhelmed with joy, -- the Google search that we've had for the last year or so never seemed to do the job.

We have had JavaRanch search for months! The only limitation is that you can only search one forum at a time.

Yeah, remember that donation drive that we had? That was to buy the memory upgrade. When we put that in we opened the single forum search back up.

I saw that as a limitation of the Google search - I often wanted to limit my search to a specific forum, but ended up with way too many results!
Glad JR Search is back!!

A tip for searching by forum using Google:
I include the number of the forum that I'd like to search in order to narrow results to that forum only. Actually, the search term to do this narrowing includes a little more information.
To search in the beginner's forum only, I'll include the term "saloon.javaranch.com/33" and all of the results are from the beginner's forum.
To just search in the "JavaRanch" forum, try "saloon.javaranch.com/10" etc.
