What are all the topic that one should cover for Sun Programmer Certification?

You can find it at http://suned.sun.com/certification/javamain.html
One remark on the objectives regarding certification for the Java 2 platform (1.1 is also available): questions about Input/Output ARE in the exam - though this is not stated in the objectives (took the exam today, so trust me).

Marcus Green has a site that deals with the objectives of the Certification exam, which have been criticized for being too vague or just plain not good enough.
I suggest you visit his site at

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
