I am planning to write SCJP2, i read java 2 certification guide
twice(once properly, and once in a fastlane). Today I found javaranch site. I did three rounds at rulesroundup and just
scored 52% and then i did marcus green mock exam and scored only
25 questions correct in the 60 question test, i guess i am way
way behind passing SCJP2,
i will appreciate if you can give me good advise regarding preparation, today is the first time that i
tried solving questions (i solved some questions in java 2 certification guide)

Write a some more (in other words lot) of code ...........
Just reading RHE will not help. Best way of learning is
to write code. Now that you are on the ranch, take code
from the postings and verify it, then participate in
discussions.
Read each post, write your code to verify what is said
and then post your views. There is nothing wrong in your
approach, just that its not sufficient. I would say you are already half (if not more) thru to the exam ...
