Hi
I am just unable to decide whether should I go for the exam or not...
so far my score on different mock exams is as follows
Marcus Green #1,2,3 from 78-88%
Exam cram 85%
RHE 90%
John Hunt 85%
IBM 75%
Khalid 85%
I am actually confused as the above score is when I took these exam second time after a break of a week or so.....about RHE as I allready done all the questions in the end of each chapter two three times so it was easy for me to get 90% in its Mock as most of the questions are similiar...
I am planning to go for the exam next week should I go for it or i need more preparation......
I will appreciate a detailed response from a person who has allready took the exam
Thanks in advance..
Wali

Well Wali, taking the exam really depends on your confidence.
As far as mock exam scores go,all mock exams are not really consistent with the real exam. But I would say that Marcus's exam and Boone match MOST CLOSELY the real exam.
Also BE SURE to check out Sun's sample questions(One tip there!!)
One tip:After each exam ,be sure to RECHECK ALL YOUR ANSWERS.Are u doing that? U will find at least 3-4 mistakes(At least I always did).
However if u r not feeling confident , my advice is prepare for a bit more time.It never hurts to get a better score even if u r passing on all mocks.
If u plan to give the exam,BEST OF LUCK!!

I would definitely take the exam. Your scores are high enough that there is a strong possibilty( 75% + ) that you will pass the exam with a score consistent with your mock exam scores(75-85%). Additionally, it sounds like your have put a significant time into studying so why not give it a go?

Sounds Like you and i are batting the close to the same. I was trying to make the same decision this morning, and since reading the other replies I think that I will go for it next week. Best of Luck.

I am also in similar situation with you except Khalid's exam.
I haven't studied khalid's text book but took his exam and could score barely 56%. Since you have scored 85% I think you are in good shape because this is the xam I found toughest so far to get good score.
Could you please infrom how did you prepared for khalid's exam.
Any clue how can we get answers for his mock exam.
Thanks

I am taking test on 18th July. I have taken only one mock test (marcus greene) till now and scored 85%. However I am planning to take as many tests as possible this weekend. It all depends on your confidence level. Since you have prepped enough, i think you should go ahead and take the test as soon as possible as you can concentrate on more interesting topics in java.

No guts, no glory! You've wasted more than enough time and energy taking the mock exams, now it's time to prove what you know!
