sandeep,
label is the only component that does not generate an event. think about it. why would you want to generate an event from a label?

Hi chetan,
All AWT component can generate the following five events as all of them are associated with a component.
ComponentEvent
FocusEvent
KeyEvent
MouseEvent
MouseMotionEvent
You can double check at maha's new home, there is a link for a chart which shows a table between events and components.
check here: http://www.geocities.com/~tony-alicea/eventsandcomponents.html
Feel free to correct me.
