need advice urgently:
1. what kind of questions on AWT can we expect on the exam. code analysis or otherwise? how many on painting, event handling, components/containers?
2. should Gridbaglayout be studied in detail?
3. are I/O questions frequent? if so, up to what level should IO be read?
appreciate any help
thx

You should know the general concepts involved in AWT interface building - Containers, Components, etc. - know the major containers, know what a LayoutManager does.
Everybody seems to get 1 or 2 questions about GridBagLayout - that sure surprised me since I seldom use it. You need to know what the various parameters do.
You should know what the various kinds of Streams are for, know what a File object can be used for - very practical stuff for almost any Java programmer to know.
