Whenever I need to learn more about a class, I always go to the class libararies at Sun. Just so I don't have to memorize it, the "gramps" (links) page here at JavaRanch has a link to it, so I just always go there and click on "JDK 1.2 API at Sun" which then goes to http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.2/docs/api/index.html
