Thanks to Java Ranch and all those involved. This website is a great resource.
I studied 3 books to pass the test: The Complete Java 2 Certification Study Guide, Java 2 Exam Cram, and Thinking in Java (by Bruce Eckel).
Some words of advice: Don't just memorize what you read, understand what you read. If you understand a concept, you will be able to take that understanding and apply it to the many situations that the exam presents.
Good luck to all future exam takers and congratulations to all those who have already passed.

Hey, I too am using 3 books, 2 of yours. But I am a certified Oracle DBA at a hectic startup and I will be back in the office at 6:00 am on saturday and this sunday too, its just cutting into my study time too much. I was disturbed that I have to memorize a good deal of stuff, which method is static etc rather than just understanding how everything works and interacts. Dont you agree that you had to memorize some things in order to pass?
