Hello Javaranch,
I took my SCJP exam today and passed with 97%. I am absolutely delighted with the results and want to thank everyone around here (even cows in the rules round-up game helped me).
Special thanks to Paul Wheaton, Jim Yingst, Mahaanna & Ajith.
I also gained a lot of knowledge & confidence from evergreen Marcus' tutorial, exams & appropriately placed links.

I used the certification book by RHE, Exam cram, Just Java & of course JLS for my preparation. I also used tutorials by Marcus Green, Jyothi krishnan & Richard Baldwin.
One tip: Use the search facility of this forum extensively. Don't miss any posts/replies by Jim Yingst in the search results.
