Hello everyone,
I have been a silent member of the JavaRanch community for about a month now. I am scheduled to take the Java Certification exam next week. However, despite my best efforts, I am still making a lot of mistakes on questions related to Threads in different mock exams.
Can anyone give me the reference to a book or paper or website that has good material on the concepts of Threads in Java (common pitfalls, tricks etc)? I will greatly appreciate your help. Thanks
Anuj Saxena

You refer the maha site in www.javaranch.com/maha and go to the discussion groups and click on Threads topic . It is really helps a lot in understanding the Thread fundamentals .

You showed me path to the resources and I am equally grateful to maha for providing such a wonderful collection.
Thanks a lot.
Once again, Thanks to javaranch, i am learning a lot from your forum and the links.
thanks again.

Dear Anuj
I had the same phobia as yours. Go thru' page no 1 to 47 of Core Java (vol 2). The book is good but the chapter on Threads is mindblowing. I tell you, after spending 4 hours on the said pages, you will start to sing a song whenever you'll see a question on threads
Regards
Sanjeev
PS: the secret of threads-think concurrently, not serially. Have fun !!!

I found after reading the core Java 2 book, and RHE, that RHE more concise and easier to read. Thread questions on mochs after reading RHE and studying it are not hard and very rarely miss a question on threads.
